Located at the north end of the Pool,
the First Cascade is the steepest
cascade in Central Park.
It sends waters from the Pool down a
steep rocky incline into the Loch,
which in turn divides the Ravine with
its meandering flowing waters that
terminate at the Huddlestone Arch in
the North Woods.
