The Central Park Wildlife Center
has more than a fabulous collection
of exotic animals to offer its visitors.
It is also the home of one of Central
Park's best kept secrets, the Central
Garden .
In the four corners of the central
courtyard surrounding the
sea lion pool is a spacious
perennial garden that truly defines
the area with its seasonal planting.
With its crabapple trees in the
spring to black-eyed susans in
the summer the garden is rich
with color and alive with the
butterflies and bees that zero
in on the pollen giving flowers.
